Each grade has an assembly where awards are given out for making the honor roll. I knew Jacqui did not make honor roll, (She got 1 C, in what else but reading comprehension), so I didn't think it was necessary to go. I promised her I would bring her a jacket before lunch because it is quite cool and windy here today. I figured while I was there I would check in with her teacher to find out, if by chance, she was getting any kind of award. It just so happens that she is!
