I knew Jacqui did not make honor roll, (She got 1 C, in what else but reading comprehension), so I didn't think it was necessary to go. I promised her I would bring her a jacket before lunch because it is quite cool and windy here today. I figured while I was there I would check in with her teacher to find out, if by chance, she was getting any kind of award. It just so happens that she is! Her teacher had left me a message, (that I hadn't checked), and she is going to get this semester's Citizenship Award because she works so hard!!! I'm SO happy!!! She DOES work hard and she DOES deserve recognition. I'll be going to the assembly.
