Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Got a call from my GP's office and the tape in the holter monitor came back blank!!! Some technical thing happened and it didn't record a dang thing, so now I've got to get another bloody halter test done. Is there no mercy? My skin will just be barely healed and it'll be savaged again. This will be a different hospital doing the holter though, and I'll tell them before they touch me that I have *very very very sensitive skin* and reacted to the tape and adhesive. Maybe they'll have hypoallergenic tape or something they could use... I can always hope can't I? So holter monitor, the sequel, starts on May 4th. I also have an appointment to get another echocardiogram done and that's on the 28th. They're hoping to have all my test results by May 6th -10th and get me an appointment with either the GP or internist to discuss it all and go on from there. I'm a little drained as I was hoping to know most of the story tomorow or Thursday. I'm just so tired of tests and waiting, but all in due time I guess :-X Sorry for the rant. On the plus side the secretary I deal with is SO SO sweet, always asks how I'm doing and jokes with me. My GP is pretty darn good too. (a million times better than the one I left when we moved in Sept.) HUGS all... hope everything is A-OK with everyone! Anyone else getting niiiiice weather in Ontario? -Rhea
Guest guest
Ugh, how annoying! Can you wait a little while before you leap into the next tests, so that your skin can heal a little bit and be more comfortable? There is no easy solution for this for you it seems! Hang in there Rhea! Jill

Guest guest
Ask them to put Skin Prep on first before putting the patches on, it will help. Why are they doing a 2nd echo? Are you feeling okay? Sue J. And the heart saga continues... > Hi Everyone, > > Got a call from my GP's office and the tape in the holter monitor > came back blank!!!
