Guest guest
Because of it's outstanding success last year, the LFA will continue using the theme "Someone You Know Has Lupus" for this years Lupus Awareness Campaign. Beginning in mid-September and running through the next year, the annual campaign includes radio and television public service announcements and print advertisemtents for newspapers and magazines, as well as outdoor and transit signs, to improve awareness fo lupus symptoms and health effects. This year, new pieces will be added to the campaign materials, including a tabletop display for use at health fairs and freestanding literature racks for use in physician's offices, libraries, and convenience stores. In addition, the posters and print advertisements will be available in spanish. You can participate in the LFA cammpaign. Beginning in early fall, the Lupus Fondation of America Web site, at www.lupus.org will include a Lupus Awareness Campaign section where you can downlatd fact sheets and fliers, and order posters and other material. Join the Lupus Foundation of America campaign to improve public awareness in your neighborhood.
