> I just read your post about " staying on top " and I did not harbor

dirty thoughts until you said that and I had to read the line again.

Barb......I am crying. Your story is so sad.....and scary. I am trying to get caught up on the posts but I'm going to take a break now and get a hold of myself. Thanks for your reply.

Carol

Re: To Karol: Bad weekend

Karol, I understand how very hard it is to have your pet become ill. Our last dog was my baby. He had diabetes and had to have insulin shots every morning and then be on a strict diet. We kept him with us for 7 years this way. It meant blood tests every so often to tweak the insulin. The morning I got up and he was bloated and I knew this was it. I called vet and she said the bladder had quit working and it was time to put him to sleep and stop his suffering. I bawled and bawled and sat on the floor holding this big ox and fed him donuts. I figured he always had loved them and ice cream. I didn't have ice cream but did have some donuts and for his last meal he was going to have what he loved.

Aw gee, I didn't mean to get into all of that. It has been 15 years and I can still make myself cry when I think about him.

I feel for you too. I am still battling hives, but not as much as I was a few months ago. It was a nightmare and a daily problem. Of course, I know the source of my allergy...cats. My mom had these 4 cats and even though they are gone...she still has dander in her house and she comes over and holds my kids...it spreads around. I would wake up in my bed with my eyes swollen shut, my lips blown up and my throat closing. My legs were giant welts. I know how painful and uncomfortable it is. It's not just itchy...it burns too. It there's angiodema, your whole body can ache. Not fun. It's true that hot water makes it worse. I think a cool compress helps. Also, Prednisone worked wonders for the hives. An hour after taking it and I was getting relief...they were disappearing. Do you have some? My antihistimine (Allegra) just would not do a thing at the time. Even nowadays when my lips swell one in a while, I have to take prednisone to make it go away. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. It's miserable. Benedryl never helped unless they gave me a powerful shot of it. Maybe Benedryl cream would help if you have some.

ohhh I am sooo jealous! I love storms and we haven't been getting hardly any rain at all.

a C

We have the same storm. I am hearing it overhead, pretty loud and

freaky. I guess it is suppose to rain all weekend here UGGGG

Just thought I would pop in real quick - due to storm I don't have

the chance to go thru messages.
