Janet, Your reply brought back memories for me, Years I kept kids in my home and then quit and in 1988 went to work at the Wichita General Hospital, I was the hospital escort, I took all patients to their room and got them swttled in...."MAN I loved that job, just visiting with people all day long. Took a man up one time and he complained"I would not mind coming to the hospital if the gown covered me....I ask..."is that all it would take to make you happy?. so left and went to laundry to pick up one of the X-LG. gowns they had, it was wrapped in plastic and with a marker....marked.."BIG MAMA" ...so I tore the plastic off and took to him, he was so happy...holding it up he said this looks like a wagon tarp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT I am happy.... Before he left the hospital that day he hunted me up and thanked me for making his stay so much better. BUT I always wondered why could they not just marked the

gowns XXL and not "BIG MAMA" course in those years I never thought about saying anything, I just tore the plastic off before I gave them to the patient. Once when I was hospitalized for a long time the nurses were kind enough to provide me with a maternity gown every day that was much more roomy. Only problem was that it had slits/openings for breast feeding, so I had to be sure to keep my upper body covered with the sheets, lest the gown gape open and expose a bit too

much. Not sure what's worse... having your butt or boobs hanging out for all the world to see. Not sure why the heck they can't just make extended sizes. Maybe they do now, but they didn't back a few years ago.The Dec. 19th issue of People magazine has a 5 or 6 page article on food allergies. The more that I learn from you and from the media, the more terrified that I am for individuals who have different allergies. Trace Atkins, the country singer, has a 4 year old with severe allergies to gluten, nuts, etc., and she recently went into anaphylactic shock after just touching a piece of candy tossed at a parade. The article also told of a little boy had an allergic reaction to a toy stuffed with walnut shells. Oddly enough, what also struck me was that the magazine has a couple of those perfume samples in it. Don't they realize that so many people wouldn't even be able to read it because of perfume allergies. Made me

think of our Willie. Do your granddaughters have Epi-Pens?Sounds like the girls had lots of fun baking with grandma! My kids, their friends, and cousins used to love making English muffin pizzas at my house. They got to spread pizza sauce onto English muffins, add shredded fat free cheese, low-fat turkey pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, olives, etc. It's funny how kids will eat whatever they make themselves.Have a wonderful weekend!love ya,Janet
