I have no silver fillings. I used to eat a lot of fish, particularly

tuna. From this alone, as far as I can tell, my mercury level was six

times what it should have been, my hair started falling out, and I had

problems with anxiety for the first time in my life. IMHO, some people

just plain detox badly, so a little bit of mercury can go a long way.

High HAIR copper indicates copper toxicity. Too much copper is

toxic. The symptoms are very similar to mercury poisoning. It

can be quite serious. I presume (but don't know) from what you

said that her hair copper is in the " red " zone on the test?

To lower copper levels you could give her zinc 3 or 4 times

a day. She may possibly have some " negative " effects while

her copper excess is being released (while taking zinc),

such as hyperactivity. (You can put up with this and/or

you can lower the dose but still give zinc 3 or 4 times a day).

This does not indicate recent exposure. It indicates either

recent or past exposure, and it indicates mercury poisoning.

(It is BLOOD level that indicates only recent exposure.)

correct!

sure, cysteine is one of many of the sulfury things. In general,

many many practitioners believe that sulfur is " good " for metal

toxic people or that people NEED sulfury supplements in order to

detox. Many beliefs along these lines. Andy (on the other hand)

believes that only SOME people who are metal toxic benefit from

taking sulfury stuff, and others need to AVOID sulfury stuff

(that it is harmful).

You can read more about this line of thought, if you wish, here:

http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/ANDY_INDEX.html#sulfur

I am not aware of any connection between copper toxicity and

giving sulfury supplements--- that is, I don't think sulfury

supplements help to reduce copper. Although a copper toxic

person MAY also be low sulfur..... if that makes sense :)

good wishes,

Moria
