Guest guest
My 7 yr. old daughter was sexually assaulted by a 13 yr. old " boy " (Tuesday). I am still in a state of shock. I cannot sleep, depressed, and my Lupus is in a MAJOR flare. The doctor that examined her messed up ALL the " evidence. " I need ALL the prayers my daughter (and the rest of our family) can get. We are prosecuting civil and criminally. If anyone has any advice (legal, emotional, etc.) it would be greatly appreciated. I need my " Lupie family " now more then ever. Guest guest
I am really sorry to hear this I know there is some great coucelors out there just take your time and find one that really listens. I was assaulted as a child and a an adult. It is a hard road to look down but with support and understanding it will be OKAY IN TIME.--- In LUPIES , " auroraskyward " wrote: > My 7 yr. old daughter was sexually assaulted by a 13 yr. old " boy " > (Tuesday). Guest guest
Oh that is just heartwrenching. My only advise would be to find a softspoken child theripist to work not just with your daughter but your whole family. I just feel so sad for her innocense to be robbed of her. Please know that I am praying for you both. a C
Guest guest
, I am so sorry to hear what has happened to your precious girl. We try so hard to keep our children safe. I hope they put the sicko away where he should be. Just know that I will be praying for you and your daughter. If you ever need to talk...there is always an ear. Guest guest
, I am so sorry about this. I cannot comprehend how these things happen and I can't even imagine what you must be going through. I will be praying for you guys to have lots of strength to go through this and for your daughter. I know she will never forget this, but I hope she can, with time, slowly rid at least some of the memory of this aggression that took place against her. Mojo My 7 Yr. Guest guest
, I have to agree with this in part, although I think I may disagree with members of the group as to where this boy belongs. I think one of the problems you will run up against is the age of the perp in terms of the legal battle. I am kinda torn about this because kids this age who exhibit this type of behavior are often abuse victims themselves, and will require counciling. I wonder what happened to the boy, whether he ran away or worse, or whether the parents are hiding him... either way it isn't good for either child. I know this is hard, and how angry you are. I've been in your shoes. Both my daughter and son were assulted, and even though the situation was aweful and terribly disturbing at the time, and healing took some time, my daughter made a full recovery. Now it's hard to say how much my son recovered, since he is schizophrenic and it's hard to tell what may be from the mental illness and what from the molestation. I know that it seems that this will never pass for the two of you, but let me assure you that time and counciling are wonderful healers, and that the love between you and your daughter will sustain you both. ~Kate > , I am so sorry to hear what has happened to your precious girl. > We try so hard to keep our children safe. Guest guest
Thank you for your kind words of wisdom. I know this kid has a lot of problems because just 2 wks. ago he beat up a mentally challanged boy on the school bus. This is also the 2nd time he has done this to Lacey...just 20 mins. and he is " done " with her. You are right about what won't be done to him because he is a minor...if I have to I'm going to be a childs " protector " and change the laws here in California because if the child KNOWS what he/she is doing and they KNOW its wrong and illegal that kid should be prosecuted as a young adult. Maybe this is my new " calling. " Thank you again, In California > > , I am so sorry to hear what has happened to your precious > girl. > > We try so hard to keep our children safe.
