I am trying to figure out how (financially) to get a family of 5 from Alaska to 's summer camp in Los Angeles this summer. If anyone has any experience writing grants or asking for funding for this, please let me know how you accomplished it. I am deeply interested in any advice I can get. I currently estimate the cost of airfare, lodging, and food to be roughly $12,000. Also if anyone wouldn't mind sharing info about a (recent) jtc camp, I would appreciate help with generating a more specific budget of necessities in California.
