Guest guest
Well,I wonder what my ruemmy is waiting for then...everytime I go back to him with another symptom,he almost always orders more blood tests and they always come back fine. This has been going on for over a year and if you looked at my hand in 2002,you could not notice the changes until I pointed it out to you.Now I don't have to do that.Which is kinda scary for me. Guest guest
Ahhh...I know where that is.....I live deeper in East Avon, over on Bronson Hill Rd. I really wish I could work in Avon,to be closer to my home. But I work at Walmart in Henrietta so I have to hop on the express way to get to work. What makes it even worse is that I was going to get my permit(yes,I know,I'm kinda old to be getting now,but I was busy raising kids......)....And then in Dec of 2003 I ended up having a seizure. They haven't been able to come up with a definite reason why.So now,I heard that if you have had a seizure, you have to be seizure-free for a year, before you can get your permit....:-( Rhonda

Guest guest
Lol!I would do the same thing except I have to get ready for work.....The perfect weather for me would be if it stayed in the low 70's. Rhonda know what you mean. I got up and opened all the windows and then turned around and closed them when it got hotter in here. I love this weather, minus the humidity. Right now I'm sitting here with no clothes on and enjoying the a/c!

Guest guest
If you don't mind me asking, what is the AAIR? Rhonda go to the AAIR. The office I go to is on the corner of South Clinton and Westfall. They have 4 or 5 doctors there. I've been seeing Dr. Rosenfeld for 20 years now. Another one of our members see's another dr there. Trying to remember his name and it's evading my brain for the moment. Can't remember what Deanna's dr;s name is.
Guest guest
Do not let that nurse bully you like that. You pay her salary. You may want to remind her of that. That is the docs job to answer questions. When I call the doc, I want to speak to the doc, not the nurse...that gets me ticked off...If the nurse feels you are bothering them, I suggest the nurse find another job. chippy

Guest guest
Thank you Chippy!I am seriously thinking of changing my ruemmy. It's not that he's mean or anything. In fact,he is quite nice. But it looks like he won't do anything unless the blood tests come up positive.Very, very very frustrating!!!Right now I can only hope that my bone scan shows something.I kinda do,to get the care I need. But then I'm afraid that there is because that means that the damage has already started. Guest guest
Rhonda, I only had the rash the first few months of being sick. It was one of the first signs, but it was also one of the first things to go once I was being treated. That was 17 years ago and I have been rash free. There is a high percentage of people who do not get the rash with lupus. I hope I never do, it's such a visible sign. However, it can come and go as it pleases. Staying away from the sun helps, but some people can actually be out in the sun and not get it. Go figure. Mojo Re: How did you get it? Hi MojoThat is one of the things I don't have which is the rash.Does everyone who has lupus get it?Does it happen sometime down the road?Rhonda "The LUPIES Store" Come check out our store...http://www.cafepress.com/thelupies"The LUPIES Web Page"http://www.itzarion.com/lupusgroup.html"The LUPIES online photo albums!" Guest guest
There used to be this old huge resteraunt on RT 15 that had the BEST burgers, and served root beers in frosted mugs. Last I remember, it had an unpaved parking lot, and was kinda sided in this greyish wood... you wouldn't happen to know where I'm talking about, would you? I used to go there all the time... > Small world! I work in Avon. Well actually East Avon. > >
