I hate it when this happens! Love me!!!!! Antidepressants correct this problem and allow us to cope with our disease in a more calm and intelligent manner. Also, if you use Web MD for research, there is lots of good info there, too. Mostly, I have found that many old timers in the medical profession tend to pooh-pooh fibro as being "all in our heads", or "strictly female trouble". I quickly disabuse doctors of this notion, and if they are not willing to discuss it in a civil manner, I just find another doc. I don't have time and energy to waste on inflated egos. I also don't have the patience, and never have. Even when I was feeling good and doing all I wanted to do, I didn't suffer fools gladly. I can handle ignorance, it's fixable. I can handle slow wittedness, it's organic. What I can't handle is the deliberate courting of stupidity in order to avoid appearing stupid. A waste of time. OK, I'm off my soapbox, now. LOL Just had to get that out this morning. Must have been saving it up for the occasion. Hope your day goes well, and that you find the info you need.
