Thank you Mojo. It seems like he is doing better on the meds but he still doesn't want to admit he has done anything so he doesn't want to see us yet. I don't care if he admits anything, I would just like to start the healing process and move past this. He can't come home until it is all straight and if he doesn't keep it together, he may never. You are right, this is hands down the toughest thing we have gone through. As long as we don't lose Freddie, Keyone and Josh over the summer to court dates I know I can keep it together, but if one of those babies leaves, all bets are off.

a C. I will be praying for you guys and that you may keep Freddie, Keyone and Josh. However, didn't you say one of them will be probably going to his grandma, I think? I know one of them was temporary, or am I completely messing things up?

I cannot imagine going through loosing any one of my kids. I don't care whether you are the biological mother or not, if they are with you you get so attached, especially since you have them out of choice, not because they "came up". But, if the court decides one of them has to go home, you will have to deal with that. This is a part of what you are doing, and in many cases it is not right, but there isn't much you can do about it. Please, please keep that in mind, it won't make things easier, but it'll keep you going.

Mojo, no, we were told when we took these three that we would be able to adopt them. A few months ago we had baby Amir, he went to his grandma because he had chronic lung problems and his mom was only seventeen and was in drug rehab. She also had already had one baby die from neglect. We always keep one crib just for emergency placements. They are babies that have nowhere to go at the moment but that will either go home eventually or to a relative. The difference with the other three was that they were foster to adopt placements and due to bad caseworkers making terrible mistakes the court dates have been delayed for up to six months. We were supposed to take Freddie out to the prison in the morning to see his mom but he is refusing to go so his caseworker said since he is nine he doesn't have to go. Whew, always with the drama in our house! lol
