Guest guest
Hi everyone, I thought I would check in really quick. I have been offline for several days due to computer problems. Hopefully things will be better now. I'm so sorry to hear about so many people having some serious problems. I will keep you all in my prayers! I hope your health and recoveries are quick! I had a bad weekend with a flareup keeping me in bed most of Sunday. I went to the dentist last Thursday and had some teeth worked on. Each day afterwards my gums seemed to get worse and worse around the teeth he had worked on. I finally called the doctor and he said I probably had a gum infection. He called in an antibiotic and after a day of pills I am feeling better. I also did quite a bit on Saturday with cleaning etc. and I suddenly noticed my hands, wrists and lower arms were swelling. I decided I must need to rest. The next day is when I felt so fatigued I stayed in bed all day. Has anyone had the hand and arm swelling happen to them? If so do you know what it was caused from or why it happens? I guess I'd better get to bed but I wish you all a peaceful and restful evening. Guest guest
Carol, whenever I see a dentist, I start taking an antibiotic the day before. My primary prescribes it. It is a pretty normal thing to get infections when your lupus teeth are being worked on. You may try that the next time.
