Guest guest
I have had really hard day not feeling very well. I have a sore in my nose that just doesn't want to go away. I just feel awful all over. My family dr. thinks I do not need my rhemu. She thinks she can take on all my care. Last time I seen my rhemu he was talking about chemo. Family dr. up my doses of malaria rx to 600mg aday the rhemu said that was to much. That we could try the chemo or something else. Not sure what to do. I need to function for my kids and husband. I just feel like I can bearly go. Hope everyone is doing good today. Missy
Guest guest
Missy, I think you should see your Rheumatologist. He is a specialist in Lupus, if he thinks you should try chemo or something else, then you are very sick indeed. If your family Doctor prescribed 600 mg. of Plaquenil.......that is a very high dose .....the most they usually prescribe is 400. mg......(.200mg. twice a day.) I will be interested to see what the other Lupies have to say, but that is my thoughts on it. I hope you get the care you need and deserve.....it is bad enough dealing with this illness without having two doctors giving you different advice and prescribing powerful drugs that might interfere with each other . Good luck and keep us posted please. not feeling very well I have had really hard day not feeling very well. I have a sore in my nose that just doesn't want to go away. I just feel awful all over. Guest guest
I would like to think that I was getting better with the malria Rx but my body is not funtioning very well. I am scared to death about chemo. It horrifies me. I feel like running and hiding alot of good that would do me. My kids would find me they need me. > Missy, > I think you should see your Rheumatologist. He is a specialist in Lupus, if he thinks you should try chemo or something else, then you are very sick indeed. > If your family Doctor prescribed 600 mg. of Plaquenil.......that is a very high dose .....the most they usually prescribe is 400. mg......(.200mg. twice a day.) > I will be interested to see what the other Lupies have to say, but that is my thoughts on it. > I hope you get the care you need and deserve.....it is bad enough dealing with this illness without having two doctors giving you different advice and prescribing powerful drugs that might interfere with each other . > Good luck and keep us posted please. > > > not feeling very well > > > I have had really hard day not feeling very well.
