Guest guest
Can anyone give me a drug identification number (DIN) for oral DMPS for my insurance company. I have it compounded here, and the pharmacy uses only raw materials with no DIN numbers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Fran
Guest guest
The drugs that I have compounded (not DMPS) are all given the DIN number 00999999. My insurance covers all compounded prescriptions, it doesn't matter what's in them. I'm in Canada. Not sure this helps. > Can anyone give me a drug identification number (DIN) for oral DMPS for my insurance company. Guest guest
When we used to have to fill out insurance reimbursement request forms for compounded drugs, the pharmacy would write in the code for compound (a bunch of 6s if I recall correctly -- your compounding pharmacy or insurance company can tell you) and then write out a full list of ingredients. Guest guest
Hello, Our insurance, Aetna so far, has reimbursed us for the compounded oral DMPS. Which is a good thing since the pharmacy charges 500.00 for 100 caps of 25mg DMPS/25mgALA. Anyone paying less than this for a similar amount? We get it from Hopewell Pharmacy. The number we use is: the NDC # we use is 00000-0497-61. Hope this helps, Ashi

I've heard that The Falls Pharmacy has good prices (they are listed at the page with URL above). good wishes, Moria
