Oh, you do have Lupus ... it's just in remission. I thought that the doctor was saying that you didn't HAVE Lupus. Great for you that it's in remission. I know that my Lupus was in remission for 10 years then came the excess protein in the urine and now chemo. I'm happy for you.

Hi sue, that subject line was meant " Tongue in Cheek" .....I know I have Lupus, and I also know that it is not active at the moment......and has not been in some time......I still hurt like hell......but this is the first doctor that has said that I am in "remission" ,and that it probably won't come back.....He is also the first doctor to tell me that I have Fibromyalgia and Sjogren's Sydrome........by the way , would someone spell Sjogren's ....out to me phoenetically.......so I can learn to say it .....I didn't even know that was what he was talking about till he asked me if I had dry eyes and mouth!! I have only seen it in print .......DUH.....
