Guest guest
Dear Shandi, I know exactly what you mean about " the shakes " ; when I am out with my Mother, playing bingo (the total scope of my personal life out on the town--LOL--sadly, but true!!), I end up with them. So, I make some stupid joke, as they make my bingo pals so nervous! I'll make so sick crack like, " opps, there goes my parkinsons " , or some other stupid remark! (No offense to Parkinson's sufferers--I had several when I was still working in the medical/health field!). Short story long (hehe), my family Doc explained it to me as the nerve impulses " farting " (truly--he's so funny) due to stresses and/or muscle fatigue! This is why I take Neurotin, for the " nerve gas " !! Guest guest
HI dove.... Thanks to all who have been answering; these spasms and twitching and " trembles " are new to me. I get the shaky like I don't eat things...but this is more like localized shaking, in my knee, thighs, a shouler....just weird.... Guest guest
Hey , Don't feel bad about the bingo, I love it when my aunt takes me to Bingo. I am always the youngest person there, but the company is good and I can sit! I am so relieved to hear I am not the only shaker. I figured it was muscle irritation but this is new. Not glad anyone has to shake, but that I am not the only one. Keep smiling , you're a great help, and enjoy Bingo!! It started when I had a very bad week sleeping (2 kids with the stomach flu, up all night for 2 nights and spent the 3rd in the ER with one of them). Needless to say, I didn't sleep much that week. I was also just about to get my period. This combination is brutal. The tremors woke me up from sleep and it felt like my whole boy was vibrating on the inside -- no visible signs of shaking. Very strange feeling! My doctor said " stress " . So I spoke to a neurologist who believes it is lack of sleep combined with drops in estrogen. Glad to say that I have been sleeping ok and have been tremor free for a few weeks. I hope it lasts!! Tricia
Guest guest
Tricia, Hope your family is ok! Thanks for answering my post-I hate shaking!! Also, I live up in Maine, not far from Mass, and when it gets clammy and cold, my joints just scream. Guest guest
I live in Belfast, on the coast, so it gets especially clammy! LOL! Kennebunkport is lovely....my retreat used to be Boston! I love the big city! Maine is nice and quiet and peaceful though...can understand why you love it. > > > > Hi all, > > > > > > > > I hate to be pesky, but the trembly, kind of shaky feeling in > my > > > > muscles is the part of this that makes me the most nervous.
