Guest guest
Hey all well I had the EGD and colonoscopy done today. My Dr. wanted them done cause I am anemic and when I stop the iron tablwets I continue to be so. A few polyps in the colon that the Dr. removed. He said no cancer. He found several spots of bleeding in my stomach. NO MORE ANTI-INFLAMMATORIES. I wonder just what the heck I am supposed to take. Sheesh. The Ibupropher never made my stomach hurt or anything. I really think it was the iron. Within 2 weeks of starting the iron I was almost doubling over in pain so I stopped it. Also, 2 days ago I developed sores on the hard palate in my mouth. I think the body is revolting on me. My face looks horrible again. I was outside a big portion of Sunday afternoon for my daughters birthday party. I was afraid they were going to cancel the tests this morning when they took my temp. the nurse looks at me and says you have a low grade fever. Well, nothing new I told her. It has been there for months now. I will have results of biopsies in one week from my primary Dr. I am gonna bug him and see what I can take in place of hte anti- inflammatories. ALSO, Does anyone here have any suggestions for the sores in the mouth. They are on the roof in the hard palate. I am not sure what to do for them. Guest guest
aw gee, thanks a lot a, when I stuck my face up close to the puter to read your message you must have given me your pink eye!! lol, just kidding but thanks, if it is not better by the morning I will call the DR because it really hurts bad. I would take some of my darvocett but am pretty sure it isn't for that kind of pain, lol a C Sorry to say, but it certainly could be pink eye, I have it right now in my one eye. But, Hopefully not. Everything will turnout fine, but hon, if it is not better by tomorrow, I would definitely go in and have it looked at. The sooner the better with those kinds of things. It could be allergies, as well since you were working outside. So don't worry too much about it just yet. Love, hugs, and prayers, a

Guest guest
today was 97 tomorrow 98 and Saturday supposed to be 99. I don;t even want to hear about triple digits. I have some cousins and an aunt that live in Mesa and they tell me about the highger temps all year round. I know that it probably is not as humid there as in a lot of places. but HOT is still HOT. It could be that you got some pollen in your eye or some of hte plant residue from touching it. I would use lots of saline drops or moisturinzing drops to try adn flush it out. If the eyes is still bugging you by Monday I would consult a Dr. Ruth in CA Re: Palate of mouth Hi Ruth in hot hot California, it's me, a in hot hot Arizona, lol. Funny you should mention that about the sores. I woke up this morning with them for the first time. Also, I planted some flowers this morning with my kids and the little girl that I have watched for seven years, she thinks she's mine, and about an hour later my eye started to feel like it was dry and I was looking through a dirty window. It's been several hours now and it hurts but doesn't feel like there is anything in it, just red and dry and now leaking. Any ideas guys? And please don't say pink eye cause I do NOT wanna go there with this many kids okay? Ruth, how hot is it there by the way, I know it's a lot like here and we hit 110. a C ALSO, Does anyone here have any suggestions for the sores in the mouth. They are on the roof in the hard palate. Guest guest
Thanks Ruth, that's what I tried. Today it is real dry and it feels like it's scratched. The funny thing is that my ear on the same side hurts REAL bad today. We had to take our two year old for his endoscopy today. They thought that he had acid reflux and have been treating him for that because he has always been sick since we got him and they found out from his initial blood work that he has some severe food allergies and now we have pictures of his poor little throat and there is severe damage from everything. So far the only thing he tested not allergic too was corn. He can't even have soy milk. We have to take him back to his pulmonary DR next week so they can to the skin test and find out what we are dealing with here. Yes, it is a dry heat and that really does make a difference. We go to Mesa all the time, it's where two of our kids were living in their group homes before they came to us and also where our 12 year old's foster family lived. Guest guest
Thanks a, it feels better today but it still is dry and sure seems like I scratched it. I think you guys are right and maybe when I wiped my eye some potting soil got in it. At least you didn't share your pink eye so that was nice, lol a C Well couldn't be greedy, guess I just thought I would share. lol. kidding. I am sure that you will be much better by tomorrow. Sorry that you are in so much pain. Perhaps you scratched the cornea somehow. You never know, you said that you were working outside. Did you get any dirt in it or something. I know that you said that you looked to see if there was anything in it, but something could of gotten in scratched it, then naturally washed out. Just a thought. I am glad that you are going to go in though. Best of luck sweetie. Love, hugs, and prayers, a azToy2@... wrote:

Guest guest
I have kids with food allergies and they are no fun. My youngst has gone teh route wtih the endoscopies to check out damage etc. The food sensitivities cause the pyloric spincter to spasm and stay shut not letting anything go to the intestines then because she was born without a valve on top of her stomach everything would come back up. The crazy thing is the Dr.s were treating is as a straight acid reflux problem and not even wanting to address the issue of food causing some of the problem. They would give her one med for somthingand then new symptmos came along add another med to it, etc. Finally I had had enough. I started her on a bland diet and worked my way through till we found foods that would set her off. A good clue are sometimes the foods tehy crave and want all the time. For some crazy reason the ones tehy crave are the ones that make them sick. A word or caution if your son cannot have soy. Soy is in just about everything that is pre packaged. Check google for names that are synonyms of soy or items that are derived from soy. Good luck. Ruth in CA Re: Palate of mouth Thanks Ruth, that's what I tried.
