Guest guest Posted June 2, 2004 Report Share Posted June 2, 2004 Kimi, I also get a lot of these. Have since I was 14 and it's why in 14 years my husband and I couldn't have birth kids. Which is okay, cause this is way cooler. I did however get pregnant one time and we lost it on our sixth wedding anniversary. That sucked big time. Anyway, I was having a lot of pain like you are describing a couple of years ago and when they did an ultra sound they really couldn't see anything too bad but the pain persisted and finally and ER DR said it was enough already and admitted me. They did a bunch of tests and wound up doing and emergency hysterectomy that night. They left one ovary, that can never be found on any ultra sound and now I have been having the pain that you are talking about and a ct showed a ruptured cyst but no ovary. Now my pc is sending me to an ob DR because they think that the ovary that is left may be twisted. I understand what you are saying about the pain, please tell me they gave you something stronger for pain. I am on Avinza and have darvocette for breakthrough pain. If this is still hurting you in a week or so, I would demand to see another DR or do what I did and go back to the ER and tell them that the pain is so bad that you can not function and that you need help now. That worked for me with the hysterectomy as well as my gal bladder and hernia. Sometimes the whiney wheel gets the relief! a C Hi Kimi It sounds like maybe one of them ruptured. I've had three cysts rupture and it hurt like that - unbelievable pain, but then it kind of faded off over the next few days. It took me about a week to get over each one. If it doesn't start to feeling better then you may be bleeding internally. So if it doesn't stop, make sure you go in for an ultrasound or some blood tests. My doctor ordered those tests for me just to be sure. I still have cysts, but normally I don't have much pain from them and my doctor doesn't treat them either. I am just hoping the pain don't come back if it does I will go see my dr about it and ask for something stronger I am on ultram for my other pains. but I am hoping that the pain don't come back at all. thanks for the info I really do appreciate it so much I do like the idea of getting a hysterectomy though but my dr won't do it unless i have cancer cause of my medical history i have had several blood clots in my lungs and legs so he is really worried about that if he gives me one but I am feeling alot better now All i need to do know is get my left foot better I got inflamation (SP) of the lining of the soul it is called something else but i don't know the medical term for it and that hurts like hell i go to therapy for it which it seems to help they said it is one of the side of effects from being on predisone for so long. It is at my heel and it hurts to walk especially if i sit for a long period of time you should see me get up and try to walk it hurts like hell but once i get to walking the pain goes away which I think it is weird but the first day of therapy he pressed down so hard on my heel i have been hurting ever since then to walk so i told them the other day they are not allow to touch my heel at all lol.
