Guest guest
i am not sure how to post the paper on here so here is a synopsis.. the paper is basically a 14 page medical paper compiled of the info on ceda and ednf. then i got the rest from radiology books. what types need what test and the risks with the test. i also have a section for the psychological aspects and how to care for the patient. and then at the end i have various pictures demonstrating hypermobility..the paper is geared towards radiology technologists which i can change very easily..it will be published in the missouri state society for radiologic technologists publication.. so if you don't believe to them unfortuantely you can't get a copy.. that is why i am going to seek other avenues. someone asked about my medical background.. i am a radiologic technologist that has specialized in catscans and i work at barnes jewish in st. louis in the er on the night shift.. i will be graduating in dec with a bachelors in healthcare management. i'm still deciding if i will be going on for my masters thank you for all the responses.. i wish i could be more involved on here.. but i am limited to time with school and work.. thank you again Amy HEDS St. Louis
Guest guest
I think your paper will impact greatly upon people with EDS who endure tests that may be difficult and this may prove to be something that paves the way for others to really take the whole patient into consideration, not just the part that's there for a scan. Thank you Amy, great job and I hope that other journals will recognize your work as well! Jill
