He's only in the 4th grade! These aren't SAT's! However has SAT's saturday....could you come study with him? *L* Sabastian will come through with straight A's..... I was having a dream - I asked the principle and the teacher to call me in immediately when the tests were graded. When they called me in the whole faculty was gathered, with the pastor of the parish. He was looking at Sebastian's math test and was teasing me telling me, he did a mistake here, and there. I was really upset. Finally he says to the faculty "should we tell her?". That's when everyone got up yelled "HE PASSED" and started clapping their hands. I didn't expect these kind of problems at least until High School. Don't you think this is f..... up?????? I will definitely breath better now that we don't have to study anymore. Then I'll just have to wait for the grades. He was doing real well at home, but he folds under pressure. I tried not to push him too hard, but how can he not be pressured when there was so much difficult stuff to remember. He's only 9. Guest guest Posted June 17, 2004 Report Share Posted June 17, 2004 Mojo, I was in shock to read that Sebastian was going to poland without you! Do you worry about travel outside of the US? I don't know much about Poland or their state of affairs. Were is Arek going? I think I missed that family meeting. is doing summer school to get his Gov't and Economics out of the way. Then he has work outs with his coach and then practice for Cross Country every night. So we are busy as well. This weekend is Chris' birthday, and I flew my mother in law in from Louisiana to surprise him. He was quite surprised! So she is here till next Wednesday. That's our life................. He owns his business and has a good manager, so he takes off for two months. Then, she takes and extended vacation and joins them end of July. That's when Sebastian will be going with her. They're leaving July 26, and will arrive there the next day. The camp starts July 29, he'll stay with them until then, and they will take him there with their daughter. They'll pick him up August 13, and my friends and hubby's family there will take it from there. Then, he'll meet them back at the airport on August 31. They come back via London. She's one of those that needs to go shopping at Harrods's once a year. She can afford it, so why not. It will sure be an empty place here without Arek, but I think I'm up to it.
