Having three boys this is my worst nightmare. Especially my 6 (almost 7 now) year old is a dare devil and I can't help but think about all the sports he will try and what may come of it. On the other hand, I know a couple whose son was getting off the sofa and broke his arm in 3 places with one of the breaks going through the skin. So, you never know where and when something like that may happen.

I cannot imagine what you must have been through during your ride there, especially since you heard "internal injuries".

I hope his recovery will be a fast one.
