Guest guest
Debbi, Sunday May 16 should be fine for me. I may or may not be attending a wedding the day before, but either way, it shouldn't affect the 16th. Hopefully Mike can accommodate his plans to include us that day, and you may want to contact SoCaliGal (or something very similar) as she expressed an interest, but wasn't sure if the drive would be too far for her (I believe she said she's in the Palm Springs area). You might be able to help her gauge the distance better than I can, since I'm not 100% sure how far the drive will be even for me! It is looking less and less likely that I'll be able to go to the conference in NY, so I am getting excited about getting to meet at least a couple of y'all! Guest guest
How does Sunday the 16th sounding for you all? -------------- Any of the dates work for me. I just need enough advance notice to set the rest of my plans and to leave here early enough to get there in time, and to leave there early enough to get back home in time. Guest guest
> Are you going to the conference? > So I will see you there? Nope, I will have classes Tue/Thu all summer long. I considered trying to fly out for the weekend to meet up with people, but I won't know about that until July because summer session starts the first full week of July and I will need to speak with professors to find out how much work I am going to have by then. I am also already scheduled to be in Atlanta for a wedding the previous weekend, so I don't know if my body can take trying to fly cross-country two weekends in a row while working on classes. It's a lot of work and sacrifice, but I think it'll be worthwhile when I finish in 2005. -Barb

Guest guest
I am such a ditz! Sorry everyone but I made a mistake with the date... It will be Sunday, May 23rd. Sorry for the mix up! Final answer? Final answer! Debbi
Guest guest
So far I can't think of anything on May 16. From looking Yorba up on Mapquest, it's about a 2 hour drive, which is fine for me. Just let me know the details when everything is finalized. I'm very interested in meeting everyone. Marla HEDS CA wrote: >Debbi, > >Sunday May 16 should be fine for me. Guest guest
I am such a ditz! Sorry everyone but I made a mistake with the date... It will be Sunday, May 23rd. ------------ The 23rd still works for me. Barb and her mom have theater tickets for the night of the 26th. We can easily get from southern Cal to Seattle driving on the 24th and 25th, with most of the day on the 26th as reserve if needed. This just means that I plan my itinerary to end up in Yorba on the 23rd and punch straight back to Seattle from there. Everything, everywhere, and everybody else on the trip just has to be scheduled prior to that.
