I think that would be June 12. Father's Day is the 2nd Sunday of the

month, right? That day should work for me and I'll be extra joyous

because the last day of the school year (I work at an elementary

school) is the following week, then summer break!!! Whoo-Hoo!

I was thinking that it might be nice to have a get together ... all

of us Southern California EDS'ers on the list. Anyone up to that?

We could have it here at my house.

If anyone is up for such an event... I would be willing to take on

the challenge to organize. It would be fun to finally *see*

everyone in the area that we *talk* to on the list. Oh yea ...

lurkers welcome too! LOL!

Is the invitation limited to Southern California EDS'ers?

Depending on when you have it, we will be in California. We are

going to take the RV out for a shake-down trip for 2-3 weeks in May

and are planning on going through Oregon, California and Nevada. My

wife's sister lives in Arleta so we will be down in the general area.

And I travel with my spare table and gear in the RV ...

I guess you American's celebrate Father's Day on a diferent day and

in a different month to us, for us here in OZ Father's Day is the

First (or second I get confused)Sunday of SEPTEMBER.

Mother's Day here in Australia is the Second (I think this is where I

get confused) Sunday of May.

I find it strange that we celebrate these days on different dates.

Father's Day is June 20.

At least, that's what my calendar says.
