Guest guest
Hi all, I'm lying here in bed typing with a little English bulldog pup snorting in her sleep next to me, LOL! We brought her home from the breeder today and she is absolutely adorable! Her parents names are Liberty Belle and Jake's Fat Man (ROFL!). We've decided to name her Lily. I want to put part of the mama's name in her AKC name so her full registered name is going to be Lilith, Belle of Britania. LOL, how's that for a handle for a 5-pound puppy?! She'll grow into it -- fast! She's really adorable -- all brindle body with a mostly white face and chest, but she has brindle ears and a brindle patch over one eye. I have plans for this little girl! I'd like to show her and breed her (probably just once). One of the pups from the previous litter is already winning and placing well in dog shows! Thanks for the name suggestions! We were going to name her Mollie, but our collie's name is Ollie, so we thought that would get confusing for both dogs! I just LOVE my furr-kids!! They're the human kids I wish I could have had but wasn't able to. -Anne
Guest guest
That's okay, we have eight Chihuahuas here. One is my kid's, two are my nephews, and the rest are my parent's. Thankfully they are the real tiny ones and our yard is huge. They are great with the doggie door and the babies. They have proven to be great therapy for our kids. a C
Guest guest
Hi -Anne, My goodness, how many dogs do you have? Congratulations on your new puppy, she sounds adorable , and is there anything sweeter than "puppy kisses?" I think this is the longest weekend ever, waiting till Tuesday to talk to my Apt. manager about whether or not I can have Lizzie! You must have a heart as big as Texas! C. Guest guest
LOL, ! I have four other dogs -- a blind, older collie I adopted from Houston Collie Rescue; Lizzie, of course; Ollie, whom we're fostering for Collie Rescue; and Chaucer, an abused English bulldog I adopted a few years ago. We have a good-sized house and a HUGE fenced- in yard. My son will be leaving for college next year and he already told me he'll be taking Chaucer with him. They're best buddies! And our foster dog could be adopted anytime. So, for now, puppy makes five! Rarely are they all in the house at the same time. Lizzie and the collies love to play outside, but bulldogs have to stay inside when it's hot. I need a hobby that will provide some light exercise, so showing Lily when she's old enough will be awesome for me. Lots of fun, too! Dog people have the biggest hearts in the world, I think! Let me know what your apartment manager thinks. -Anne > Hi -Anne, > My goodness, how many dogs do you have?
