Guest guest
Hi Helen...what an original story for an injury! Have you tried soaking in Epsom Salts? I've had 6 broken ankles. When I have removable casts, I always soak in Epsom Salts and it helps take away the soreness. It certainly won't hurt. You can buy this at Walmart or the pharmacy. I hope you get some relief soon! Guest guest
Helen the anti inflammatories are the best. You need to ice and elevate at the same time. What I do is heat and elevate and then ice and elevate. Elevation is the thing that keeps the swelling down and in turn will help the pain. Also, while elevating the leg it is impossible to walk on it so therefore it will heal faster. Take care. Ruth in CA Update and question Hi all. I've been doing pretty well getting over my vacation. Still tapering off prednisone and still puffy. Two more weeks!! Then diet time. Well, my question is re: my "deer" knee. For those of you that didn't catch my post. I was riding with my hubby on the motorcycle and a deer hit us from the side. While we didn't fall
