Guest guest
Sorry your family did not convey this info to you. I take it they lived far away and were not in contact often? it is too bad our families are not closely connected in this day where people move all over the globe. I hope there is no hard feelings. Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear of your loss and that your family didn't notify you. Sometimes families think they're " protecting " you (don't know if this is the case or not), but in any event, it's not a protection, and isn't good. Guest guest
Thanks. It is hard I think for families these days, especaailly ones with significant health problems, to handle all the stresses and to figure out how much stress their ill memebers can take withoutit further damaging their health. I think we are dancing to new musics here and there is no pattern of steps to rely on. We all have to improv. This is true, but my rule of thumb for me, is I get to decide what is too much stress for me. Don't withhold information from me " for your own good " . Dh and I have already talked about it many times, if either of us gets really bad, we don't want to be lied to, have information withheld, or any other excuse people come up with. Nothing pisses me off faster than other people trying to make decisions for me. You, of course, maybe feel differently or it make work better for someone else to have someone else decide things for them, just not me.
