This bird is our pet, Cherry. He is a Chattering Lory.

Here's 1 of hubby doing what he loves most...showing birds to children! Kids love him. Besides our own grandchildren, most of our kids friends children call him "Grandpa". We do programs for schools, scouts, civic groups & used to visit a different nursing home every week. I hope we can get back to doing more of that. After we both got sick, we stopped going as often.

And here is 1 of me with 2 of our other pet birds, Cream the umbrella cockatoo & Frazier the Black-headed Caique. This was a couple of years ago when I had been on the wonderful prednisone for several months!

Well, I think I'll try sleeping again since it's 1:38am!
