See? I knew that you understand! lol. We have kept in touch with Justen's next youngest birth brother all along. He lives in Flagstaff but his dad brings him down here and we take Justen up there a few times a year and they spend the weekend at whichever house they are at. It has always been a healthy thing, but the DR said today that he thinks Justen may be thinking that it would be nice to live with his birth brother. I know that he loves these kids very much, he takes great pride in being the oldest brother. Some days I feel like we are just constantly picking up the pieces of their little broken lives and trying to put them back together the best that we can. Our other kids are doing so very well, and so was Justen till now, I love my life. These kids ARE my life, they are my reason to get my butt out of bed every day no matter how bad I feel. I understand about the birth family connection. We have the names of all of their parents and none of them gave these kids up, they were all taken for neglect and severe abuse, even the babies. Even still though Bridget is curious about her birth siblings, she has seven, but is terrified of her mother because she was the one who put her in the wheelchair at 16 months. Wed I thought our whole world was falling apart but the DR's are hopeful and the kids are calming down about it all and God will take care of this. Sorry this got so long, you know how we all go on about our kids huh?

a C., It's ok, honey. As you know we move from crisis to crisis in this household, too. Seems like

we barely get through one major upheaval, and then another kid reaches his teens and we do it all

over again. Teen years are not a very happy time for anyone, but are doubly hazardous for kids with

special needs who have abandonment issues, too. I'm with you in spirit. Love, MM
