Shanna's, (Stormie) pulled the leash out of Mike's hand and took off like a shot! Mike has a bad knee that is close to needing replacing, so he ran as far as he could and couldn't find her so he came home. We all went looking, both on foot and in cars, with no luck. We were all just sick! Finally, Randy (Shanna's husband) said I have a feeling she's just scared and hiding somewhere, and a lady walking had said she saw the dog running in a certain direction, so Randy went out to try one more time. He found her up by a school, just sitting by a 5' wooden fence, scared to death. We couldn't see her because she was so black! The only reason he saw her then was because her eyes shone off his flashlight! We were all so relieved, especially Mike, because he felt responsible. Now she wears a reflective collar!
