Guest guest
That is so incredibly awsome!!! I'm SO happy for you!!!! ellen She talked to me! I know you gals/guys will understand. I'm still bawling and I picked her up from school over two hours ago. When I picked her up I asked how her day was. Usually I get no response and I have to prompt her ... today she said, " I ate marshmallow egg. " Then later when I asked if I could have a chip she said " sure mama " which is something I've never heard before. Today was much better than yesterday when I was crying about her eating sand. (I didn't mention it since we've all been there before. "

Putter, I know from LaShaun, went on a field trip with his autistic classroom to the local mall and saw the Easter Bunny (who he laughed and laughed at) and then rode an ostrich on the carousel. But he told me nothing. Salli

Guest guest
Salli We have a little book about school and her day. It's like a picture schedule but it's a book. Since she reads if there is a problem or a change I change the book and read it to her at school and before school. So if she went on a field trip there would be a picture of her on the field trip with a caption about what she did. Sometimes I just draw something. I bet her would read it to you. Hmm, I think I might need some help on this though. The book describes everything that she does in a normal day but you can put changes in it? And you read it to her before (we couldn't do this on swimming day or he would be uncooperative until he got to swimming) and after. I am sure he would read it to me. Any more details greatly appreciated. Thanks! Salli

If I didn't exploit those situations and were lucky to be able to attend his class every now and then I;d never know what's going on !! It's frustrating. He'll be aggravated and leashes out at me because something happened in school and I have no idea . Boys. susi Mom to Lars ( almost 8, NT ) and Toby (6) ASD --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
