Guest guest
Inga, I don't know if this is an answer as to why some people feel great on Atkins and some feel so lousy....but there is some information out there that different blood types, being genetically different, have different capacities of physiologic functioning. According to that information, people with blood type O do very well on very low carb diets such as Atkins. People with blood type A really need more carbs to be physiologically balanced. Only numbers can prove this.... ( don't recall about type AB ) Hubby is type O and thrives on tons of meat and a bit of fruit. I am type A and just cannot balance my energy without bready carbs. Light vegies are not enough...fruit sometimes is too fast for me, esp pineapple (?)....and the breads just settle my blood sugar right on key. Roxanna > >> I get VERY sick on Atkins.
