Guest guest Posted March 9, 2002 Report Share Posted March 9, 2002 Hi I must be lucky,my regular physician prescribed oxycontin for my pain..we tried vioxx and celebrex they didn't work so he put me on oxycontin.. He even prescribed xanax for my anxiety..and he was a huge help in me getting SS..He was the one who suggested i go on disability..And i just got approved,first try,,it took since september,but at least i wasn't turned down.. once i get all the paperwok done for SSI,which they said only takes about a week or so to do,i should be eligible for the medical insurance,then i can go see a rheumy(which my dr wants me to see). good luck to all of you... It was a beautiful day here in NJ..In the 70's..i know i overdid it out in the garden,but it felt so good to feel the warm sun and smell the dirt..
