Thank you . I really think it is wishful thinking. He tends to

adjust reality to what will work best for him! He spent years after

being diagnosed in denial...I think he may have reverted back. Also,

he has this idea that he has had such a rough time behaving and

wearing sunscreen that he can not wear it and be " just as sick " . I

know - it doesn't make logical sense...but that is my Dad! I truly

despise his Rheumy....but I'm thinking of calling her anyway. My doc

is hounding me to see a Rheumy (as I've been avoiding seeing one for

a while since " she " is the only one in the area) so maybe I will make

an appt. if for nothing else to talk to her about Dad. He is a royal

pain in the the behind - *grins* but he's the only Daddy I have!

LOL Thanks for your (and others') response!

Sounds like a trip to the rheumy is in order. Your dad is off in his

own world somewhere pretending he's immune to auto-immunity. But as you

say, he's your dad, and the only one you have. Denial is POWERFUL, as

you well know. Hope you get an app't soon. Let us know how it goes.

Love, C.

Thank you - I'll let you know how it goes when I see her...not

looking forward to it though... :-)
