Guest guest
---Hi, we have been fighting yeast and bacteria for 4 years now. It wont go away probably until you rid the body of the metals and possibly viruses. The yeast and bacteria thrive on the environment. You need to start chelating. If you wait for the conditions to get better they wont. I would NOT do a challenge test either they are dangerous. Please look in the files about this as it is important for you to understand. Challenge tests dump too much chelator into the body and sir up too much metals and the body cannot eliminate it so then the remainder just re-distributes and could potentially land in a worse spot in the body. Guest guest
I wonder how did having almost normal yeast and anaerobe numbers translate to your child's behavior? One thing to remember is by the time you get test results a lot of things can change. A lot of times tests are useless. The better you learn to recognize the symptoms of issues like yeast, bacteria, virals, etc. the quicker you can deal with them. There is usually lots of help here in dealing with these, but I think you won't be able to control most gut issues until mercury toxicity issues are addressed. You should understand that mercury challenges aren't safe so you shouldn't allow one to be done. Andy is pretty well-written on this recurring subject. I'm sure there is plenty in the archives here that will provide you enough understanding about the specifics of challenges. [ ] We can't the yeast and anaerobic bacteria under control!!!! HELP My son is 3yrs old. We are following a DAN Dr. in Miami. He is on the GFCF diet (pretty much yeast and sugar free as well), all organic. This is what he is taking: Nystatin 1/8 tsp x 3/day primer III (zinc) x 2/day (capsules) colostrum x 2/day (2 tsp) super Nu-thera x2 /day (1/2 tsp) follinic acid x2 day (capsules) TMG x2 /day (1 tsp) Magnesium x 1 /day (capsule) B-12 injection every 3 day. priobiotics x 3/day (1capsule) sodium citrate x3 day (1.5tsp) for his kidneys Our 1st OAT test showed elevated yeast and anaerobic bacteria, so we treated it with culturelle and colostrum for about 1-2 months. We re- tested OAT it showed that the yeast went down and so did the anaerobic bacteria ( almost to within normal ranges). Our Dr. wanted the anaerobic bacteria to be a little bit lower before we did a chelation challange test. We he recomended the Metronidizole ( a compounded version of Flagyl). We did 2 weeks on, then we rested 3 weeks and then we did 2 more weeks, before we re-tested the OAT . Well shocking to all of us...His yeast and anaerobic bacteria went super high (3 times higher) as before. At that time we didn't know if the test was bad or if the medicin was bad. So he recomended that we should try One other way before we test again. So we did Lauricidin 3 times /day (12-15 pellets ea time), we increased the priobiotic and the colostrum. We did this for about 5 weeks. Today I received the results and the yeast went up even higher and the bacteria when down 20 % not what we expected. I need to know if anyone experience this and what you did? =======================================================
Guest guest
Hi, We had the a long term yeast problem with my daughter. We gave her Culturelle, SF722 from Thorne, vital 10 from Klaire labs and other mineral, vitamin Supplements. Her OAT results of high clostridia and yeast went down after 8 weeks and our nutritionist recommended Flagyl to knock out the remainder, but I continued with the program we were on. After a year of Culturelle everyday her OAT was great. I continued giving her Culturelle but phased out the other " antifungal stuff " then phased out the culturelle and retested after 6 months and her results were still normal. We had already Chelated her but had a bad experience as the doctor we used did it the every other day version and she developed obsessive compulsive type thinking. The Culturelle maintains a good gut pH and allows for the friendly bacteria to grow and crowd out the unwanted bacteria and yeast, maybe the Metronidizole upset that balance.
