TD-DMPS contains growth hormone?

On another list, I just read that one of the ingredients in Dr. Buttar's

TD-DMPS formula is growth hormone. Is this correct? If so, does anyone know

how

much? And, does he/docs using this do pre-testing of labs related to growth

problems before using this on a child?

The mention that it contains growth hormone in the mixture concerns me,

particularly. We've been exploring a possible GHD with my son and have been

researching pros and cons of HGH use. If a child really needs it, it can be

extremely helpful with some possible negative side effects. If a child does not

need

it, it could have some very dangerous side effects. Anyone who wants to

research this can do a simple search on growth hormone excess or " acromegaly " .

You'll find that too much can cause many very scary problems. The real

frightening thing with this is that much of this occurs gradually, over time so

you

may not know it's a problem until it becomes very dangerous. Are the doctors

monitoring IGF-1 levels during TD-DMPS treatment?

To find out for sure, you could call AMT and ask them directly, and

then post what you find out to the list.

1-866-828-8203 is AMT's number.

Thanks for the clarification. It's possible that the people who posted that

HGH was an ingredient got it confused with the GSH it does contain. So are

there other ingredients besides DMPS, GSH and the stuff that makes it absorb

easier? Sorry if this would be a repeat. I haven't followed the TD-DMPS

threads

but the mention, apparantly incorrect, about it containing HGH caught my

attention. When I tried to do a web search for the ingredients, nothing came

up.

I don't know where you heard that it contains that, but my bottle

shows nothing of the sort. I think it is probably that somebody

confused it with another transdermal product that Dr. Buttar

advocates taht is an amino acid blend which is supposed to trigger

growth hormone release, but he hasn't used that for autistic kids,

it's for his adult patients, trans-d-tropin. He contends that this is

contra-indicated for mercury toxic people, usually. Rose

there was an article that said 2 of the children dr buttar treated grew 6 inches

in 6 months after the mercury was removed. i took it that mercury can stunt

growth and that they were just catching up. my daughter is 5 and small for her

age. she could use a little growth spirt. she has only had 6 doses of TD-DMPS

and is doing well. angie
