, Pain free days with us, is like wishing a healthy person wins the lottery. That is why we often

wish each other pain free days. It's a great gift when we get even part of a day without pain. Kind

of corny, I know, like calling a giant "shorty", but you get the picture. LOL

Have a good time at the conference, and tell us all about it. Loving hugs, MM

, I don't know about anyone else, but I never had pain free days for a few years and then a couple of months ago they started me on a new med called Avinza. That keeps me pain free, not just the fibro and lupus, but also the migraines I used to get. that's about it for me!

a

I don't post much but I read all the messages. I've been to my new rheumy a couple of times now and have been having tests, all results are not in yet. However, he told me on Monday that in addition to the lupus I have fibromyalgia. I am just beginning to learn about that diagnosis as it was not something I expected or knew anything about. Heck, after more than four years, I'm still learning about lupus.

I see that y'all sometimes wish each other more pain free days and my question is do you really have pain free days? I don't know what that feels like, I can't remember pain free days. I have days of more pain and less pain but can't imagine no pain. I sure hope to get some soon.

I know that many of you have gone through very trying

Hi, this is Robyn, Have you experienced any side effects from the

Avinza? I posted a few times that I had bad, bad intestinal cramps,

nausea, etc from the Plaquenil. I hear it has helped others, but I

don't know if I can trade the pain for the stomach problems. I was

only diagnosed with Lupus a few months ago and I have not had a pain

free day yet. I am grateful for the days with less pain. I know that

the more I exert myself, the more pain I have. Fatigue turns to pain

for me. Please tell me more about Avinza. Thanks so much, take care,

Robyn

Please tell me more about Avinza. Thanks so much, take care,

Robyn

Robyn, I take it once in the mornings. There have been no side effects for me though. It is a slow time release med that starts out strong and then when it hits a certain point it levels out for 24 hours. I don't feel doped or out of it and am finally having mostly pain free days.
