For my son who is 6 (PDD-NOS), on round 38 of ALA only, the hair

pulling is an expression of his OCD, he has PANDAS which is a post

infectious autoimmune cause of OCD, his symptoms come and go with

infections stress etc, the first time the symptoms appeared was 6

weeks after a severe viral infection with sackie B virus. 5 HTP

and inositol help but unfortuneately also make him extremely hyper so

we can't use it. Did your daughter have a recent illness? The nail

biting for my guy was related to mineral def. and helped with mineral

supplements

In my family, this means yeast.

For my kids, not all yeast issues cause the same symptoms.

I have also read messages that it can be mineral deficiency,

especially zinc.

No recent illness. What minerals did you supp. for the nail biting??
