Guest guest
OH Jacquie, how horrible. I hope it was an accident. > > Sitting here watching the news; they've fished out of a river where I used to live the body of 's very first pedicatrician. > > They've not given the full story yet -- they've just shown the little news headline thingy -- so I don't know HOW he got there! Suicide, murder, accident, I have no idea. > > This feels really bizarre. This man weighed and measured my baby when he was only days old; he visited me in hospital after was born! He taught me about formulas, and discovered needed to be on soy formula. He treated each and every one of the ear infections had in his first year of life. He showed me how to hold the oxygen mask on him when he had RSV in hospital and could not breathe. > > And now they're yakking away about kids in another city spending gobs of money on the prom, and is screaming at me to come and play that blasted skateboarding game, and I just want them to tell me what happened to this sweet little man! > > How disturbing. I feel so shaken. I've not seen this doctor in five years, but it's just a horrible feeling nonetheless. He was a truly NICE man. > > Jacquie > > >

Guest guest
You know, that is just a complete shame!!! They have a dr there who actually CARES for his patient's and because of stupid red tape and bureaucracy (sp?) he was unfairly punished. (I'm assuming, from this letter). I'll say a prayer for his family. That is a very sad situation. :-( ellen Re: Holy crap - OT I wonder if this had anything to do with it. :-( The perils of socialized medicine. http://www3.sympatico.ca/dindar/mrc/kormos.htm (the Dr in the letter, Dr Hsu, is the ped I wrote about in the original post) Jacquie

What an inept system. You would think that somehow between our civilized countries we would be able to come up with a better system than either of our countries use. It is such a shame. Guest guest
> that would freak me out too jacquie! where did you used to live - still in ontario? I grew up in Owen Sound (on Georgian Bay) and then lived in Welland and then St Catharines, both in Niagara. Lived briefly in North Bay, too!
