Here is Miralax info, I would try to get off the Miralax as soon as possible http://www.danasview.net/miralax.htm Here is my page of constipation ideas http://www.danasview.net/constip.htm Yeast can be constipating, and DMSA can cause yeast. So that is something to consider. For my family, enzymes and magnesium help with constipation. Good luck. Dana > > Fast forward, he is now 15. His puberty went by pretty well. We chelated for almost a year. That is not enough. Do a lot more. I realize it is a major investment of one's life to chelate enough, but the longer I am in this field the more I see the major issue being one of getting people to stick with chelation to the bitter end. It goes slower as you continue, but it is well worth it. Do at least another year or two. Preferably two. >A lot of tin came out, but that was basically it. Ignore what comes out. That isn't relevant. >He seemed to get a worse. I didn't > notice any significant improvement. This is actually the most relevant thing and most worth discussing in deciding whether to chelate more. Given what you are saying about how he is though I'd definitely suggest trying it. Ever have hair element tests, RBC elements, etc? > Since he had a big problem with > constipation, we had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done when he was 11. It > was found that he had colitis. See if you can find a more natural substitute for miralax. > Fast forward, he is now 15. His puberty went by pretty well. But he is > still moderately autistic and still has limited speech. I now prefer 3 hour or more frequent admnistraiton of ALA when possible, which generally means 3 hours in the day and 4 during the sleep period. > And do you think I can chelate him again with better success > since his stomach issues have been addressed through medication? Most likely you'll still have some issues come up, but you can solve them especially since you should expect them. E. g. give magnesium and vitamin C with every chelation dose. If you have a cooperative doc you might also try DMPS, it is easier on this kind of gut stuff. > Thanks so much. > > > DJ's mom

Every week is theoretically optimal but most people can't do it. > > them especially since you should expect them.
