Guest guest
I'm sorry I don't know what is going on with this round but I wanted to advise you that it is my understanding that Tylenol slows down the liver...I'm not sure about Advil... > I gave my non verbal, 75 pound son 3 doses of 25mg ALA and 25mg DMSA > today. Guest guest
Tylenol (acetaminophen) lowers glutathione levels in the liver and prohibits detoxification. It's especially bad for our kids who already have detox problems. I threw ours away. It's insane that pediatricians recommend Tylenol before and after vaccines, when our kids need to filter out all of those toxins in the shots. Look up Tylenol Toxicity on the web, pretty scary stuff. Small amounts can cause liver damage, liver failure, even death. Guest guest
Thanks . I didn't know that. My son went to sleep a few hours ago and I stopped the round. I guess I'll just use Advil after this.- -- In , " Fournier " <@w...> wrote: > Tylenol (acetaminophen) lowers glutathione levels in the liver and prohibits detoxification. Guest guest
I would try a lower dose. Dagmar. [ ] Trouble in Round 8, Help Please I gave my non verbal, 75 pound son 3 doses of 25mg ALA and 25mg DMSA today. For supp's, Supernuthera, Cod Liver Oil and Magnesium. For the last couple of hours he has been screaming like a lunatic, banging his head and stomping his feet. I also gave him tylenol at 2:30 and advil at 7:00PM. He had his usual 50mg seroquel at 4:30PM. He can't give us a clue what's wrong being non-verbal. Any suggestions? I plan on stopping this round now. =======================================================

When I added AdvaClear, by Metagenics, the headaches stopped and I could even tolerate 50mg each dose. The AdvaClear keeps yeast down while chelating and seems to make it go all around better. I took one AdvaClear capsule with each dose of chelator, but I have adult patients take it three times per day during ON days and that seems to be enough for most people. I do not recommend it on OFF days. I think the NAC stirs up mercury when there is no chelator around. I never tried it, but TAPS by Thorne, might work similarly and that should be fine for off days as there is no NAC in it. Trudeau

Guest guest
: Can I ask what you did for this? Thanks- > Hi , > I know when my son was head banging it was from inflammation in his brain > taking place. The inflammation swelled the brain and it was pressing against > the skull causing lots of pain. > R
Guest guest
, At the time my son was headbanging he was only 10 months old. At that time I did not have a diagnosis of autism. When he did it, he did it on a tiled kitchen floor. Ouch!I just ran over to him and put my foot between his head and the floor to stop the damage from taking place and then picked him up and comforted him because he was crying.I didn't find out what this was until years later when I started to research what to do to help him.If he was doing it now, I would give my son anti-inflammatories such as vitamin c to stop the swelling.
