Guest guest
Just thought I'd let you know that accupressure a la Gach helped with my daughter's stuffed up nose. I paid attention to the energy ... I felt a warming sensation in my fingers when I had them on her face. I didn't push the accupressure points on her head - I just laid my palm on them and I felt a pulse - but in my tired state it could have been my own pulse - I don't know. ------------- (1) Very good about using Gach. I saw the subject line and grabbed my copy before reading your post because I was going to give you a list of points to use. In the last year and a half, I have come down with three colds myself and have used acupressure each time. Normally, a cold will drag on for anywhere from 2-3 weeks, no matter what you do. In all three cases, from the time I started using the points for the colds, I went totally symptom free in three days or less. I have lost count of the number of times I have done point work on someone for sinus congestion. (2) Your experience while working on your daughter was a typical sensation. It is common for the practitioner's fingers or entire hands to not only get warm, but to sometimes get almost downright hot. I have had a number of situations where I have been working off-body on someone and they could feel waves of heat radiating from my hands and my hands were anywhere from 8-15 inches away from them. (3) As for feeling the pulse, a couple of things you can think about. The first is what did it feel like? You know what the basic blood pulse feels like - a steady, rhythmic pumping sensation. If you felt something different in each hand, it was NOT the blood pulse. In other words, if you felt an out of synch pulsing, one hand compared to the other, you were feeling the energy. The other thing to consider if you think it might have been your own pulse you were feeling is to simply place your hand(s) on a flat surface and see if you can detect it. If you can't, then you were not feeling your own pulse with your daughter.
