Guest guest
Robyn, first I have to say that you are so lucky to have a supportive husband. Mine is to but I have heard on other groups people who talk about spouses that are just terrible in times like this. Ya know, the way that I have been able to manage my lupus is pretty easy. First I don't have a lot of the issues that can come with it. I do get a great deal of pain and also the fog. Mostly the hardest part of lupus for me is the migraines. They can last for up to two weeks. I take neurontin for something with the lupus and I have to take flexeril at night or my legs kick and jump with muscle cramps all night. I take other meds for other things but I must say that my DR started me on a new drug called Avinza and it has just made a huge difference for me. I don't get the body aches or that overtired feeling anymore. I feel better than I have in years. Also, on days when I feel like I just can't get out of bed because it hurts, I have three little babies that just wont accept that answer! They get me up and going every day because I love taking care of them. So that is how I try to deal with lupus. a
