Guest guest
On finding out what the demand is, they probably WILL raise the price. Have to remember that they are in business also to make money. Forest is not a large pharma company, and they do make synthetic thyroid meds also. Finding out where their market is would and should be of prime importance. If you were talking to one of the top marketing personnel there, they would be very interested to know that there is a movement out here. It makes them more money. There are several sides to this issue, other than our health, as far as many of them are concerned. ly, if Armour wasn't selling big, there would be no market for it. They NEED to know that there is a market for it, but, get ready, because where there's smoke, there's fire. I have no doubt that the price will be raised, but we would still have to have it, and they all know that. Guest guest
Duh Forest - it took you a year to get Thyrolar on the market again so many people took Armour instead. That is one explanation for the increase in people using Armour. Sometimes I really wonder about Forest ya know. Louise > > > Oh wow - this was an interesting post. Guest guest
My guess is that for the past year he hasn't been able to find Thyrolar. Forest changed the manufacturing equipment starting in Oct 2003 and it finally came back on the market in Nov of this year. During this time it was unavailable. I take Thyrolar as do many people and there is nothing wrong with it. If someone is taking it and it isn't working they need to switch meds. Same with Armour and Levoxyl and all the rest. What works for one person won't always work for someone else. Thyrolar has been around since the 50's. Thyrolar also has a higher percentage of T3 in it than Armour.
