Guest guest
> Anybody else have arthritis in her feet? > Yup. I do. I wear Birkenstocks (and a cool collection of warm socks) or men's Reeboks for athletic shoes. I too need a wide width and excellent arch support and I have a tendency to pronate. Reebok makes, or at least has in the past, some very nice indoor cross trainers that are very light weight and have excellent shock absorbtion. I also have a pair for outside wear with a good grippy tread on them and stiffer support. Don't ask about dress shoes. I don't wear them. Wrist splints help if you wear them to sleep in. Really. > Unknown back problems. You probably don't want to know. If they find out they will want to fix it and unless you can't live with it, the fix is worse than the problem. > A pain in the ass (Oh, that is just Dalton getting into something again) Sorry, can't help you with that one. Guest guest
I've had bursitis in my shoulders...oh wow the pain. Hot knife-like pain when I'd lift my arms about directly eye level, then dull horrendous pain in the morning and would even wake me in the middle of the night. I had such a hard time even getting out of the bed. I'd walk around all day long trying not to move my shoulders *try this sometime, it's funny how much you appreciate your shoulders* Anyway this happened for three straight years but only from December to February. I think it was from the massive OT I'd work in November for Xmas. I have constant aching sore pain in between my shoulder blades. I think that's from having big boobs. This was the pain most relieved by acupuncture. Too bad it's so expensive. My lower back pain is different quality. It aches and I have sciatica but you can't even touch my back without sending me thru the roof. I'm sure that's from the many years of lifting patients. They've Xrayed it before and tell me there's nothing they can see really wrong with it. I think they should do an MRI....something HAS to be wrong. My feet have always bothered me. The pain is worse since I gained weight...they just feel like I'm walking on hot coals. Then add in the overall muscle pain that comes along with the fibromyalgia. I'm amazed I can do anything sometimes. And sometimes I don't.

Guest guest
I was dx'd with the bursitis in my knee when I was in 6th grade, my hip started a few years later, the tendonitis started around 7th or 8th grade and got worse over the years. My back...who knows... Georga Hackworth Men, can't live with them, can't trade them in for their weight in chocolate. April is Autism Awareness Month!
