Guest guest
> I noticed how nobody said MY post was nice! > > Think you're all trying to tell me something eh. Ha, ha, , yours was FINE! It's just that Raena sounded as if she had been so awful and then there was a polite letter. But your letter was fine too. And it wasn't personal bashing nastiness either. Guest guest
> Forgive me if this note is too unpleasant...I am truly angry at this > moment. Raena: You are, like me, I think a very polite person. So when you are angry, it still comes off as a rather polite note of complaint. And you even excuse your tone, in case it is, as you say, unpleasant. Your note was factual and listed all that you had done and the fact that there are many different kinds of autism. You did not bash this person in any way except to explain to her that she misunderstood your situation. It's a great note. Salli

And they wouldn't love our kids the way we do. Oh, and Poor who can hardly bear to be parted from you, Raena. Wouldn't it be awful? Guest guest
It is a great note for getting your point across in a non-inflammatory way. Much, MUCH, nicer than I ever could have been. I would have probably ripped her to shreds and gotten tossed off the list. That woman is ignorant, arrogant and I can't stand those people with " higher than thou " attitudes. You and deserve HUGE hugs today. I'm sorry you're both dealing with well, buttholes! ellen Re: Re: I'm a jerk... > Forgive me if this note is too unpleasant...I am truly angry at this > moment. Guest guest
Nope, don't regret it. She's forcing her opinion of what works on you. You didn't ask for any information along the lines of what she said, and she basically said you were doing wrong by your child. I interpret her post as an attack on how you take care of YOUR child. She deserved it! Sue

Guest guest
Raena, I think you were very restrained under the circumstances. I heard so muuch of that " Super-Mom-who-cured-my-kid-of-autism " crap till I was sick to death of it. I'm glad somebody finally let one of them have it. You educated her. Maybe she won't forget what she learned. Sissi

Guest guest
An excellent response Raena. She made the mistake of assuming that what worked for her child would work for all autistic kids. We all know better than that. Guest guest
I agree. Reana I could never write a letter like yours to that woman. I just would blow her head off. You are one of a kind.
