I had to go give blood myself this morning. I am taking a "lipid class" at the base and they wanted to check my levels again. This new class is becoming quite a pain in my ass! Ha.....I'm sure my cholesterol has gone up because of all the eggs I have eaten recently. I have been living on eggs and tomato bisque soup lately. It's the only thing I can eat right now. They will love to hear that! You know what.......I really don't care what they say. I eat what agrees with me! Karol Creatinine levels Well my levels are still high. So I get to pee again! This time they want the first one of the morning. I'll just stop up and get a cup thing and do it at home and take it in. They want more bloodwork too. Good thing I keep making blood and pee! When you're asking about the creat, find out your 24 hour urine proteinuria. That is also an indication of the kidneys function, however not necessarily. Sometimes they let the protein go, if you creat level is normal. There are now studies that say they should not do that, because protein will damage the kidneys if continues for an extended period (year or more). I'm a pro at reading kidney function labs, everything else is totally unclear to me. Whenever I want to check my white vs red vs platelets and so on, I have to do it with a chart explaining what is what and what are normal levels.
