Guest guest
Oh, wow, I'm cringing just thinking about that c-section - makes me thrilled to have only had to have tears sewn up after childbirth - that was painful enough! > Hi , > > I had similar experiences with the dentist. Guest guest
Oh my goodness ! You weren't numb when they started the c-section? UUGGHH! I've had 3 c-sections, but didn't have any problem with the meds. Had one spinal, and 2 epidurals. Although, during one of these (I think my last), my face went numb, and I got scared that the meds went the wrong way! haha Good thing they knocked you out right away. I saw a tv show once about how some people get general anesthesia, and even though they are paralyzed, they feel all the pain. But, they can't do anything about it cause they are paralyzed from the drugs. I can't imagine what that would be like. Just horrible! Then, when they fully wake up, they tell the dr, and he doesn't believe them. That scared me, cause I saw it shortly before my hysterectomy. But, that turned out ok, cause the last thing I remember is talking to the anesthesiologist about what meds he was gonna give me, he said, " I'll be right back " , and I just remember him walking away. Nothing else till I woke up in my room. Hugs,

Guest guest
Torodahl works great, but you can only have it for like 5 days. It can damage the liver pretty bad if they use it more than that. They couldn't control 's pain with her lung surgery, and until they added the torodahl, it was a nightmare. That's really good stuff. Guest guest
Re: re locals I was always afraid I would be one of the those people who would be awake for the procedures too. Imagine how scared I was for my first operation in June 2002! But the MD knew my fears before I had the surgery and probably talked to the anaesthesiologist. I just had horrible pain from surgery afterwards because NOTHING touched the pain...and I had allergic reactions to the pain meds - morphine, dilaudid, vicodin, etc. It wasn't until my 3rd op in Jan 2003 that they used Tordol and Demerol that actually worked for me without reactions. Guest guest
I used to take Torodol tblets for pain relief (not as good as the injection) and I think I reacted to them and that is why they stopped. I have NEVER been told that they need to limit the amount they give you?? Weird Huh Sharon > Torodahl works great, but you can only have it for like 5 days.
