Writing Column

I have been asked to write a column once a month for our newspaper for chili.

I will be the only woman writing a column. This is a new thing the editor

is trying and hopes to make the paper more interesting. There will be quite

a few other columns but I only know of one of the other people. I am

interested in who else is going to be doing one.

Mine will be about things that have been discussed about parts of chili that

need more attention and it will also have gossipy, funny things it from

cookoffs and such. I am a better writer at more humorous things than I am

about serious but both will be there. It comes out once a month, so you will

have time to write, rewrite and make sure that what you want to say is what

you want to say. I am also going to be able to have pictures if I want. I

have a dilly of one if it comes out right as I am just learning to use this

camera and I have never been good at camera anyway.

The title of the column as of right now is *A woman's Work is Never Done*. I

don't know if I will keep that or not. What do you think? I have asked for

suggestions for a different title so I will see what I get.

I am very excited about this as it will help me mentally and I do need that.
