Wellbutrin has to be tapered off - if you stop taking it abruptly, it can

cause seizures or an odd feeling like being shocked in the head. Strange

stuff, but it's the only thing that's worked for my depression.

specialist...I am not even sure my body can handle a pregnanacy qith all the

I have 2 children and I had my 2nd after I knew that I had fibro and many

other medical problems. I look at it this way, Medical science has made

leaps and bounds over the past 10 years. We are now able to cure things that

would have surely killed us 10 or 15 years ago. The things that are

currently making us ill now may not be a problem for future generations. If

you want to have a baby and you are willing to take the risk to your own body

to carry that child, then what a lucky child that would be to have a mother

that wanted him/her so much that she risked her own health to bring him or

her in to the world.

If you want a baby go for it !!! I am sure you will make a wonderful Mother.

Hi,

I got fibromyalgia because it runs in my family. I think I also have

RA. Despite being in pain all of the time I'm still glad I'm here. Even if

your child does get one your diseases they can still be a happy person that

enjoys life.

My father's side of the family has had fibromyalgia all the way back to the

1800s even thought it had a different name or people just thought they were

crazy. Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Alopecia, and some other auto immune

diseases run in our family too along with neurological problems. I've

honestly never seen a family as sick as mine.

I was not aware that Fibromyalgia is DNA based, since it is a syndrome not a

disease. I am very interested in studying further regarding a familial

tendency. Would you please post where you got this information so that I can

read and study also.

Thanking you,

Dana
